Warmth with added dexterity.
Wetsuit gloves for those who dare to brave the cold, harsh elements of Mother Ocean.
You won’t find a wetsuit glove with better dexterity and warmth. The first neoprene glove made from 100% Titanium Coated Yamamoto #40. Keeps you warmer longer.
You won’t find a 3 mm wetsuit glove with better dexterity and warmth. The Isurus wetsuit glove is made from 100% Yamamoto #40 neoprene.
Ti Alpha wetsuit glove only absorbs 2% of its weight in water compared to 40-60% with competitor's neoprene gloves. You won't have to constantly take of the gloves to wring the cold-water out of them.
Cold water-logged water robs your body of heat 25x faster than air. No wasting precious body heat warming a cold water logged neoprene glove.
The neoprene glove is lined with Titanium to reflect heat back at your fingers and hands with no increase in thickness or weight. The insulation properties of the Titanium coating is like adding another 1-2 mm of neoprene to the glove. You can where these gloves 1-2 mm thinner than those made from conventional neoprene.
Yamamoto claims a 40% increase in temp rating with Yamamoto neoprene lined with Titanium. I’m not comfortable going that far, but we agree it is definitely a big increase.
Hey there, Jeff here from Halifax Paddle Surf.
Today, we're going to do a real simple review of something that's really important for all surfers and SUP surfers. Gloves.
This is the Isurus 3mm #40 Yamamoto glove. It is lined with the Ti-Alpha premium lining used on their 6.5 and 5.4 wetsuits. These are possibly the warmest three mil gloves I have ever tried. I would say that they are akin to a 5mm glove, but with the flexibility and movement of a 3mm.
They are fantastic - I can't say enough about these gloves, just absolutely brilliant.
With the glove turned inside-out, you can see the Ti-Alpha lining in yellow. These gloves feature a really solid double gusset system. I have ended sessions where my hands are still dry. They just lock out the water, keep my hands warm, especially in Nova Scotia winter paddling where the temperatures are in the mid-thirties if you're fahrenheit, low celcius - we're talking one degree, zero degree, minus five degree.
Again, just brilliant gloves - I can't recommend them highly enough.
Thanks, and we'll see you out on the water!

I've been fortunate enough to have used a lot of wetsuits. Beginning with the O'neill beavertail through the stiff fullsuits of the late 20th century, up to the present time. Many suits have their gimmicks: quick dry, neck gators, tight wrist and ankle cuffs, but they're still the same ill-fitting, moderately flexible suit.
Then a quantum leap occurred.
Isurus created a surgical glove
It's also exceptionally warm, with the flexibility in the shoulder and hips where it's needed.
As the Orthopedic Surgeon for the ASP/WSL for the last 25 years, I've seen a multitude of injuries from tight, poor fitting suits. The cut and stitch pattern is superb to allow exceptional flexibility through the shoulders. This decreases the risk of impingement syndrome and rotator cuff damage. The zipper less entry and exit is also very flexible around the shoulder which also decreases the risk of rotator cuff or labral damage.
I have also experienced myself the low back stiffness that occurs with a poorly fit wetsuit that allows low back chill. Even though the Shield is only a 2/2, the stitch and paneling is done to maximize fit with optimal warmth to the low back area.
Spend a little bit more on this fabulous suit rather than in my office with your shoulder pain. Buying quality never goes out of style. I rarely give testimonials, but I believe in Isurus wetsuits.
I don’t do surgery in garden gloves.
You shouldn’t surf in a suboptimal wetsuit

At Isurus, our passion is to build world-class wetsuits that stand up to the harshest conditions the ocean might offer.
Living and surfing in and along the California coast, a frequent topic of conversation was just how much wetsuit innovation had stagnated and quality had deteriorated. It is about designing a wetsuit that improves surfer performance. Click for more about Isurus wetsuits.

"Size runs just a hair small. I wear a small for Oneill 1. 5mm gloves, ordered a M, and need to go to L. Seams are unlike anything I've seen before in good ways. I would absolutely recommend. Curious to see how long the grip lasts but they seem like the best made glove I've ever had the pleasure of wishing they'd fit. Will purchase the 5m and get my 3m in large. 5/4 ti alpha ordered!! Just need to hear back on exchange and hopefully we can both save on shipping and they go together."
"super warm. . . super grippy for bodyboarding"
"I've worn these gloves about 11 times up here in Western Canada and I'm very impressed. They have excellent mobility and keep my hands pretty warm in 49° temperatures."
"As an Aussie getting used to cold water surfing in Washington sState these things rock paired with my 4. 3 hooded Evade wettie I was toasty maybe a 2mm option for even greater dexterity and temp regulation 🤙🏼"
"Solid producr"
"I could not find my set of 5MM gloves so I grabbed these the other day. NJ water temp about 38-40 degrees. I cant believe they kept my hands warm as long as they did in conditions that they were not designed to handle. I was out for nearly 2 hours and they held their own. I would not recommending purchasing them specifically for use in those temp ranges, but it speaks volumes to how warm it is for only 3mm thickness. Gloves are very light and hydrophobic, much lighter and better board feel compared to others I have tried in the past. I will be buying the 5mm pair for sure next winter."
"Wore them today. Water was cold, and it was a cloudy, windy day. Hands felt great!"
"Not at all restrictive. I bought the medium originally and it was a little too tight. The guys at Isurus made it really easy to return and swap for a large."
"Perfect fit ,flexable, warm, and being 80% waterproof doesn't gain weight in the water"
