Auggy was born and raised in Santa Cruz. He is turning heads of the Mavericks veterans with his hard charging style. Particularly at his home stomping grounds of Mavericks. He is always in the mix when Mavericks is going off.

Auggy has travelled the world as a sponsored surfer and has also competed on the Big Wave World Tour. He has done stunt work for the movie Chasing Mavericks. More than anything he loves chasing swell even more- the bigger the better!

Besides all that, he is just an all-around great guy to hang with.
