A former WCT surfer whose aerial skills are world class, Kirk learned his fly boy air raids on the beaches around Cronulla. He can still smash the guts out of any wave anytime. Now his lies with big waves and big air, chasing slabs wherever he can find them.
Growing up in surfing in Cronulla, Kirk looked up to famous pro surfers Mark Occhilupo, Richard ‘Dog’ Marsh and Gary Green who are also goofy-foots from the area.
His childhood dream was to make the WSL ‘dream tour’ and since achieving that he’s been chasing heavy slabs, including Shark Island & Cape Solander, which are right in his backyard.
