Quality not as good
"Warm. . . quality has gone down from my purchases a few years ago. I've surfed maybe 5 times and the chest area is delaminating. So bummed. Usually love these suits."

The latest 5.4 titanium-lined hooded winter women's wetsuit from the Isurus Alpha cold water wetsuits range.
All full-on features of the Ti Alpha 5.4 but with the wetsuit panels designed for a women’s body. Tested in the cold-waters from San Francisco and north to Tofino, British Columbia. You won’t find a warmer, better performing cold-water wetsuit than the Ti Ember 5.4
The Ti Ember 5.4 wetsuit is designed for the performance oriented women surfer who likes to charge in all conditions. But still be super warm and comfy. The wetsuit is made from 100% Japanese Yamamoto #40 neoprene which has 25% more stretch and durability than the industry leading Yamamoto #39. It is 80% lined with Titanium Z-Fleece for superior warmth.
The Ti Ember wetsuit only absorbs 2% of its weight in water compared to 40-60% with conventional neoprene. So you don’t waste precious body heat warming a cold-water logged wetsuit. Less weight means you don’t tire out as fast compared to paddling a heavy, restrictive wetsuit.
The wetsuits features body-mapped panels that move in unison with a women’s anatomical structure for maximum unrestricted movement. The anatomical panels combined with the less weight means no more coming home with sore aching shoulders.
No short cuts were taken with the design of the Ti Ember 5.4 wetsuit. It is every bit as good as the men’s Ti Alpha 5.4.

The main ingredient is Japanese limestone, which is advantageous in environmental and quality aspects.

Oxidation-resistant plant oil is friendly to people and the Earth. It makes rubber soft and flexible.

I've been fortunate enough to have used a lot of wetsuits. Beginning with the O'neill beavertail through the stiff fullsuits of the late 20th century, up to the present time. Many suits have their gimmicks: quick dry, neck gators, tight wrist and ankle cuffs, but they're still the same ill-fitting, moderately flexible suit.
Then a quantum leap occurred.
Isurus created a surgical glove
It's also exceptionally warm, with the flexibility in the shoulder and hips where it's needed.
As the Orthopedic Surgeon for the ASP/WSL for the last 25 years, I've seen a multitude of injuries from tight, poor fitting suits. The cut and stitch pattern is superb to allow exceptional flexibility through the shoulders. This decreases the risk of impingement syndrome and rotator cuff damage. The zipper less entry and exit is also very flexible around the shoulder which also decreases the risk of rotator cuff or labral damage.
I have also experienced myself the low back stiffness that occurs with a poorly fit wetsuit that allows low back chill. Even though the Shield is only a 2/2, the stitch and paneling is done to maximize fit with optimal warmth to the low back area.
Spend a little bit more on this fabulous suit rather than in my office with your shoulder pain. Buying quality never goes out of style. I rarely give testimonials, but I believe in Isurus wetsuits.
I don’t do surgery in garden gloves.
You shouldn’t surf in a suboptimal wetsuit

At Isurus, our passion is to build world-class wetsuits that stand up to the harshest conditions the ocean might offer.
Living and surfing in and along the California coast, a frequent topic of conversation was just how much wetsuit innovation had stagnated and quality had deteriorated. It is about designing a wetsuit that improves surfer performance. Click for more about Isurus wetsuits.

"Warm. . . quality has gone down from my purchases a few years ago. I've surfed maybe 5 times and the chest area is delaminating. So bummed. Usually love these suits."
"I'm 5'7, just under 130 lbs. I'm a size 8 in ripcurl and billabong. That in mind and the Isurus size chart I went with the size 8. But I find it feels a bit to loose.. and from day one got water flushing up from my ankles, the hood starts off really tight and than stretches out. just be cautious with the sizing chart because it seemed a bit inaccurate for me. overall the suit is durable, flexible and with proper care I'm hoping I can get a few seasons out of it."
"A bit difficult to get on, but it was my first time using it. Was warm for the 48 degree water, thought it would be a bit warmer as the water temp will continue to drop on east coast NY. Water flushed in my leg, don't know how that happened, but I body board and my legs are more in the wave, tho didn't expect flushing in leg when all very sealed. (?) Overall very satisfied, and glad I did buy it."
"Super stoked with my Isurus 5/4. It's the warmest suit I've ever worn, without sacrificing flexibility. The materials are super soft as well. Easy to get in and out. Thanks Isurus for making such an awesome suit for women!"
"Favorite wetsuit!! I have both the Ember 3.2 and the Ember hooded 5.4...they are amazing. Especially love the 5.4 for the cold NY winters, it is comfortable and feels light, yet it is super warm and dries fast. Mine is a few years old now but is holding up really well, much better than any other brand I have tried."
"I live up in Canada and I’m stoked to wear this new 5’4. I love that this suit is so LIGHT and flexible but is THICKER and WARMER than my last 4 5 4 from Isurus. The fact that it’s environmentally made from limestone and no petrochemicals matters to me too. I am a 10 in most wetsuit brands and the 10 fits perfect."
"I live up in Canada and this suit keeps me SO warm in the winter when the water is freezing. Amazing flexibility and so stretchy! I have the 6T 5.4 hooded and it fits perfect. Best wetsuit for the winter and all year round."
"This is hands down the best winter suit I've ever owned! This suit has the same feel and flexibility as a 3/2, but it has the functions of a 5 mil, making it extremely warm. It's pretty sweet too the way the suit molds to your body, making it a perfect fit. I'm from New Jersey, and we go through some pretty cold winters (water temp can drop as low as 29 F and the wind chill even lower) so I'm pretty stoked to have this suit, especially since it dries super fast too. If you're looking for a winter suit that has a lot of flexibility, a great fit, and love being warm, this is the suit for you!!"
