This Ti Alpha 5.4 is made for these adventurous souls. It features Yamamoto #40 neoprene with 20% more stretch and durability compared to #39. The Titanium coated Z-Fleece lining now covers 80% of the wetsuit for superior warmth and comfort. You can now surf stronger and longer in the harshest conditions.

I've been fortunate enough to have used a lot of wetsuits. Beginning with the O'neill beavertail through the stiff fullsuits of the late 20th century, up to the present time. Many suits have their gimmicks: quick dry, neck gators, tight wrist and ankle cuffs, but they're still the same ill-fitting, moderately flexible suit.
Then a quantum leap occurred.

It's also exceptionally warm, with the flexibility in the shoulder and hips where it's needed.
As the Orthopedic Surgeon for the ASP/WSL for the last 25 years, I've seen a multitude of injuries from tight, poor fitting suits. The cut and stitch pattern is superb to allow exceptional flexibility through the shoulders. This decreases the risk of impingement syndrome and rotator cuff damage. The zipper less entry and exit is also very flexible around the shoulder which also decreases the risk of rotator cuff or labral damage.
I have also experienced myself the low back stiffness that occurs with a poorly fit wetsuit that allows low back chill. Even though the Shield is only a 2/2, the stitch and paneling is done to maximize fit with optimal warmth to the low back area.
Spend a little bit more on this fabulous suit rather than in my office with your shoulder pain. Buying quality never goes out of style. I rarely give testimonials, but I believe in Isurus wetsuits.

decent wetsuit
"good wetsuit. LTS is a touch short in the arms and legs for 6'2", but still the best fit of any brand. The rubber on the inside of the wrist and ankles, i assume to hold it in place, is already falling apart. This wetsuit will essentially last one season before the seals start to leak mildly."
Not true to size, not a good experience
"Bought this model thinking I was gonna have a long lasting wetsuit. Followed the size charts and recommendations from the page. When it came it took me like around a month to try it on ( cause there was no good surf on the PNW) just to find out that it was very small. I barely was able to fit it. Even then I decided to give it a try. Felt like suffocating all the time and ended up with a rash in my face from the hoodie. And from their policy for return I couldn’t change it, so basically I spent 700dlls for a wetsuit that it’s not true to size, a face rash and I guess it is gonna last 10 years, since it’s gonna be just hanging up in my closet. Pretty disappointed after deciding to go for the so much praised brand. That’s an honest review"

Worth all the pennies
"These suits cost more than most main brands but after years of only wearing isurus I can say that they are worth the extra money. They are warmer so you can use a thinner suit. They are more comfortable and fit better. They last 2 to 3 times as long as regular neoprene suits. One of the few products that are clearly better than their competitors."
