I've been fortunate enough to have used a lot of wetsuits. Beginning with the O'neill beavertail through the stiff fullsuits of the late 20th century, up to the present time. Many suits have their gimmicks: quick dry, neck gators, tight wrist and ankle cuffs, but they're still the same ill-fitting, moderately flexible suit.
Then a quantum leap occurred.

It's also exceptionally warm, with the flexibility in the shoulder and hips where it's needed.
As the Orthopedic Surgeon for the ASP/WSL for the last 25 years, I've seen a multitude of injuries from tight, poor fitting suits. The cut and stitch pattern is superb to allow exceptional flexibility through the shoulders. This decreases the risk of impingement syndrome and rotator cuff damage. The zipper less entry and exit is also very flexible around the shoulder which also decreases the risk of rotator cuff or labral damage.
I have also experienced myself the low back stiffness that occurs with a poorly fit wetsuit that allows low back chill. Even though the Shield is only a 2/2, the stitch and paneling is done to maximize fit with optimal warmth to the low back area.
Spend a little bit more on this fabulous suit rather than in my office with your shoulder pain. Buying quality never goes out of style. I rarely give testimonials, but I believe in Isurus wetsuits.

"Great warmth for a 3. 2, great fit, and the relative freedom of movement is helping my not-great shoulders avoid seizing up, which is the real big factor for me. It's too early to talk wetsuit longevity for potential buyers reading this, but the construction looks top notch. The LS looks my size on the size chart, buy the L is what I ended up buying and the fit feels better for mobility of my shoulders."

"The neck collar is so thin that water gets in when duck diving. Even after getting it altered by 2 inches it still flushes a little bit."
Too expensive
"Update about six months in now. Warm enough for late spring through maybe October November definitely not a replacement for a 4/3 here in Ventura, Ca. Overcast mornings in late spring after about an hour the chill starts to set in shivering starts around an hour and a half in. Overall for the price these suits don’t live up to expectations. They are comfy with nice materials but so are much less expensive suits. The large tall is too short for 6’4 as I could tell by getting lots of water through the neck. The girth fit perfectly though some large talls are a little big on girth and bunch up but not theses suits nice tight fit. Overall price is too high for the amount of cons and there is like a page of care instructions which I feel you shouldn’t have to treat a wetsuit like a newborn baby."

"I recently purchased the Isurus 3.2 Evade wetsuit for my son to replace his worn-out Rip Curl. It was an impromptu surprise, and he couldn't have been happier. Personally, I've been using the Isurus 2.2 Evade chest zip for several seasons, including winter sessions in SoCal, and its warmth and quality have exceeded my expectations. I then purchased the Shield 3.3 Zip Free, which I got for Christmas, and it's been fantastic. I tell everyone at SanO that they need to switch to Isurus. Having used Xcel and Matuse wetsuits in the past, I can confidently say that Isurus stands out. My Xcel suits didn't last as long, and Matuse felt noticeably stiffer in comparison. The flexibility and durability of Isurus wetsuits make them a superior choice."

Great Suit Best fitting
"Great suit. Fit is the biggest win, at 6’5 195lbs finding a LT that is not too big is hard and I definitely don’t fit a L, but the evade fits perfect and I’ve only worn it once so should get better with break in. I can’t say if it is as warm as a 4mm but come winter we will find out. Picking it up on wholesale was also clutch for still being affordable. Also the zipper is not that hard to work."
My second Evade - comfy & warm
"This is my second Evade 3.2. First one I bought was in 2020. It's still in decent shape but it's starting to show it's age. Once I saw this on sale, I had to get it. Super comfortable, warm, and fits perfect. For context, I've owned multiple Ripcurl and Matuse wetsuits, and this one is the best of the bunch in all categories. Ripcurl just fell apart after a year and the Matuse rubber was a tad too restricting in my opinion. Isurus rubber is the most comfortable."
